Canlis Matchbook

I was honored to team up with Tanamachi Studio to design the first in a series of matchbooks for one of Seattle's most iconic restaurants, Canlis. I worked closely with Dana and Canlis owners Mark and Brian to create a design that pays homage to their grandfather—and the man that started it all—Peter Canlis. The cover design and illustration were inspired by an original matchbook from when the restaurant first opened in 1950.
